Abstract (English): Objective: Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is increasingly common in adolescence and is highly disabling. This umbrella review analyzes which psychological treatments have shown evidence of efficacy. Method: A search was conducted in PsycINFO, WoS, and PubMed using keywords to find reviews and metaanalyses published between 2013 and 2023. A total of 5 reviews, 3 reviews and metaanalyses combinations, and 1 metaanalysis were included following PRISMA standards. The methodological quality and risk of bias of the studies were assessed using AMSTAR2, classifying them as high, low, or critically low quality. Results: Dialectical behavior therapy and mentalizationbased treatment, adapted for adolescents, showed the most evidence of efficacy. Additionally, there was preliminary evidence of effectiveness for prevention and early intervention programs for BPD. Conclusions: More methodologically robust studies are needed to identify the key components of treatments essential for their efficacy and longterm effects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
