| Abstract (English): | Currently, hip dysplasia is considered the most common congenital pathology at birth. Its incidence ranges between 25-50 cases per 1000 live births when the diagnosis is made through adequate ultrasound screening with the Graf method. Although hip screening with the Graf method is widely accepted in Europe due to its wide reliability and reproducibility, in America it has been difficult to permeate the technique to the medical community. Due to the above, and due to the high need to implement an accurate, reproducible and reliable diagnostic technique throughout Latin America, the Mexican Association of Hip Dysplasia and Ultrasound (AMDUC) decides to carry out this review with the objective of translating, combining and create a simple guide to the Original Graf Method, being the first Spanish-speaking one. This Review is based on the literature carried out or supervised by the author of the Method, in this way, the correct training of the professor who makes the diagnosis of hip dysplasia is achieved, using standardized language and criteria, and thereby avoiding diagnostic errors and treatment.
