Abstract (English): Introduction: Education and training in entrepreneurship are recognized as potential to improve economic conditions at the macro level as well as in everyday life, however, the results of training programs are questioned when they do not incorporate the differential approach for ethnically differentiated rural communities. Objective: To investigate the impact of social skills on entrepreneurship in peasant, indigenous and Afro-Colombian communities in the Department of Cauca who participated in the vocational training program SENA Emprende Rural. Methodology: Quantitative approach with descriptive and correlational design, the differences between the ex ante and ex post moment of participation in the training program were identified. Results: There are no significant changes in response to training and validate the correlation between entrepreneurial attitude and social skills. Conclusions: The results are explained by curricular designs without a differential approach and few participants in the research given the geographical isolation and connectivity difficulties where these communities live.
