Abstract (English): Introduction: The diagnosis of cancer affects not only the person who suffers from it, but also in a very direct way his or her environment and, in particular, the primary caregiver. Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation between the psychological variables resilience and spirituality in its three dimensions (intrapersonal, interpersonal and transpersonal), and to explore whether there is any relationship with the sociodemographic and clinical variables studied. Methodology: Sample of 55 primary caregivers of cancer patients. The instruments used to carry out the research were the Brief Resilience Scale (BRC-S), to assess resilience, and the SECPAL Spirituality Group Questionnaire (GES), to assess spirituality. Results: the positive relationship between the study variables was confirmed, being more relevant in the interpersonal and transpersonal dimensions of spirituality (p < 0.001). Conclusion: As in the scientific literature, there is a close relationship between resilience and spirituality, which applied to clinical practice could indicate that promoting both variables would be one of the key objectives in working with caregivers of cancer patients.
