Abstract (English): The subcorneal pustular dermatosis, also known as Sneddon-Wilkinson disease, is a rare, benign, although recurrent condition classified within the group of neutrophilic dermatoses. Its pathogenesis remains unclear. Clinically, pustules appear on the trunk and intertriginous areas, rarely on acral locations. Histologically, subcorneal collections of neutrophils form pustules. While dapsone remains the treatment of choice, this case report highlights a successful alternative treatment using colchicine, a well-established second-line drug, although multiple treatments have been described today, among the most recent, for example, adalimumab, a monoclonal antibody against tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α). Colchicine is accessible, safe, and effective, and should be considered among the first lines of treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
