Abstract (English): Objective: Analyze the theoretical and experiential evidence regarding the use of videofluoroscopy in the diagnosis of dysphagia in adult patients. Materials and methods: This review was performed following the parameters proposed by the PRISMA statement, and databases were identified by defining the key terms in the search for information. The PIO model was used to construct the research question. Results: The search yielded a total of 3999 articles. Subsequently, established filters were applied, with a final sample of 12 articles that provided an answer to the research question. Videofluoroscopy is currently considered the Gold Standard and the most recommended test for the objective evaluation of swallowing function, making possible the quantitative measurement of dysphagia. Conclusions: Videofluoroscopy implementation and application for the evaluation of dysphagia in adult patients are important. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
