| Abstract (English): | The article focuses on the effectiveness and impact of Nirsevimab in Chile during the first season of a national immunization strategy against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). The research, which analyzed data from 154,173 infants, shows that vaccination with Nirsevimab significantly reduced hospitalizations due to RSV-related respiratory infections and severe cases that required intensive care. This success in the vaccination campaign, supported by the Ministry of Health and other institutions, could serve as a model for other countries to implement similar RSV prevention initiatives.
