Abstract (English): The article presents the content of the second semester of 2025 of the journal Medicina UPB, which includes four original articles relevant to public health in Medellín and Antioquia. Topics such as the survival of patients with metastatic prostate cancer, the trend of pregnancies in adolescents, and the response to treatment for psoriatic arthritis are analyzed. Additionally, access to pharmaceutical services in Antioquia is addressed, and a review of muscle injuries in soccer goalkeepers is included. Three case reports on uncommon clinical situations are also presented, highlighting their importance for doctors and nurses. [Extracted from the article]
Abstract (Spanish): El artículo presenta el contenido del segundo semestre de 2025 de la revista Medicina UPB, que incluye cuatro artículos originales relevantes para la salud pública en Medellín y Antioquia. Se analizan temas como la supervivencia de pacientes con cáncer de próstata metastásico, la tendencia de embarazos en adolescentes y la respuesta al tratamiento de la artritis psoriásica. Además, se aborda el acceso a servicios farmacéuticos en Antioquia y se incluye una revisión sobre lesiones musculares en arqueros de fútbol. También se presentan tres reportes de caso sobre situaciones clínicas poco comunes, destacando su importancia para médicos y enfermeras. [Extracted from the article]
