Abstract (English): The article focuses on the importance of professionalism and care in the training of healthcare professionals in the post-pandemic era. It emphasizes that professionalism, defined as the judicious use of skills and values for the benefit of the patient, is fundamental for the well-being of both professionals and patients. The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated difficulties in care, leading to a crisis in the relationship between human values and technological development in the healthcare field. It is proposed that continuous training and the development of transversal competencies, along with guided reflection spaces, are essential for improving the well-being of professionals and, consequently, the quality of care provided.
