Abstract (English): Introduction: Technical secondary education should address labor market demands and develop the talent required by Colombian industry. Vocational guidance plays a key role in achieving a close correspondence between these areas. Although studies have been conducted at the national level, there remains a need to determine whether educational programs reflect the real needs of each region. Objective: To describe Colombia's technical secondary vocational guidance programs, considering their pedagogical, curricular, contextual, and labor foundations, as well as their potential impact on regional economic competitiveness. Methodology: A search of international electronic databases was conducted for articles published since 2020. Sixty-seven studies were identified, of which seven met the inclusion criteria. Results: The programs integrate various theories and approaches, primarily vocational development theory, action research, and life project methodology. Although aligning training programs with production demands enhances employment opportunities and regional development, only three studies addressed this variable. Most of the programs analyzed were implemented in urban institutions. Across studies, vocational guidance was shown to involve educational, socioeconomic, family, and psychological factors. Conclusion: The findings highlight the need for curricular reforms to expand and institutionalize vocational guidance as a transversal and longitudinal axis in secondary education, as well as the importance of adapting strategies to regional diversity. Abstract (Spanish): Introducción: La educación media técnica debería compensar las necesidades del mercado laboral y formar el talento que requiere la industria colombiana. La orientación vocacional tiene un papel clave para lograr una estrecha correspondencia entre estas áreas. Aunque se han realizado estudios en el ámbito nacional, existe la necesidad de determinar si los programas educativos consideran las necesidades reales de cada región. Objetivo: describir los programas de orientación vocacional de educación media técnica de Colombia, considerando sus bases pedagógicas, curriculares, contextuales y laborales y su impacto potencial en la competitividad económica regional. Metodología: Se realizó una búsqueda de artículos publicados en fuentes de información electrónica internacionales desde el 2020. Se identificaron 67 estudios; de estos se seleccionaron siete que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Resultados: Los programas combinan teorías y enfoques teóricos, principalmente la teoría del desarrollo vocacional, la investigación-acción y el proyecto de vida. Aunque la alineación de la oferta de la formación con las demandas de producción mejora las oportunidades de empleo y el desarrollo regional, sólo tres estudios consideraron esta variable. En cuanto al contexto donde se implementaron los programas, predominan estudios realizados en instituciones urbanas. Respecto de los factores involucrados, todos consideran la combinación de factores educativos, socioeconómicos, familiares y psicológicos en la orientación vocacional. Conclusión: Se evidencia la necesidad de introducir cambios curriculares para masificar y formalizar la orientación vocacional como un eje transversal y longitudinal en educación media. Abstract (Portuguese): Introdução: O ensino médio técnico deve responder às demandas do mercado de trabalho e formar o talento requerido pela indústria colombiana. A orientação vocacional desempenha um papel fundamental para garantir uma estreita correspondência entre essas áreas. Embora existam estudos em nível nacional, ainda é necessário verificar se os programas educacionais consideram as reais necessidades de cada região. Objetivo: Descrever os programas de orientação vocacional do ensino médio técnico na Colômbia, considerando suas bases pedagógicas, curriculares, contextuais e laborais, bem como seu impacto potencial na competitividade econômica regional. Metodologia: Realizou-se uma busca de artigos publicados em bases de dados eletrônicas internacionais desde 2020. Foram identificados 67 estudos, dos quais sete atenderam aos critérios de inclusão. Resultados: Os programas combinam diferentes teorias e abordagens, principalmente a teoria do desenvolvimento vocacional, a pesquisa-ação e o projeto de vida. Embora o alinhamento entre a oferta de formação e as demandas produtivas aumente as oportunidades de emprego e o desenvolvimento regional, apenas três estudos abordaram essa variável. Predominam programas implementados em instituições urbanas. Em todos os casos, a orientação vocacional é influenciada por fatores educacionais, socioeconômicos, familiares e psicológicos. Conclusão: Evidencia-se a necessidade de promover reformas curriculares que massifiquem e formalizem a orientação vocacional como um eixo transversal e longitudinal no ensino médio, além de adaptar as estratégias empregadas à heterogeneidade regional.
