| Abstract (English): | Introduction: The consultations of couples under medical supervision within the preconception risk category constitute valid way for the exercise of clinical, teaching, and research skills by assistants students in clinical specialties, but the potential offered by these consultations is not always well utilized. Objective: To evaluate the training process of clinicals assistants students who participate in the comprehensive evaluation consultations of couples with preconception risk. Methods: An observational, descriptive and prospective study was carried out in 30 assistants student belonging to the teaching polyclinics of the Antonio Maceo Grajales Health District 3, in Santiago de Cuba, during the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 courses. Results: Several problems were identified in the training process of clinical assistant students, where they considered the training provided by their tutor professors insufficient. Furthermore, 90 % of them alleged a lack of interest in the training. Meanwhile, the women and/or couples surveyed and consulted did not report any differences between the assistant students and other students in relation to cognitive performance and professional values, evaluating them as deficient for their assistant student category. Conclusions: Although in the comprehensive evaluation consultations of couples with preconception risk, as a form of teaching organization, the development of the axiologicalprofessional capacity of the clinical assistant student is conditioned, the legitimation of the developmental pedagogical training approach, necessary in the training process of the clinical assistant student, from the pre-professional medical practice, is not always used satisfactorily. | Abstract (Spanish): | Introducción: Las interconsultas de parejas dispensarizadas dentro del riesgo preconcepcional, constituyen vías válidas, para el ejercicio del desempeño asistencial, docente e investigativo, del alumno ayudante de las especialidades clínicas, pero no siempre son bien utilizadas las potencialidades que en estas se brindan. Objetivo: Evaluar el proceso de formación de los alumnos ayudantes clínicos, que participan en las interconsultas de evaluación integral de parejas con riesgo preconcepcional. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo y prospectivo, en 30 alumnos ayudantes, pertenecientes a los policlínicos docentes del Distrito 3 de Salud Antonio Maceo Grajales, de la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, durante los cursos 2018-2019 y 2019-2020. Resultados: Se identificaron diversas problemáticas en el proceso formativo, de alumnos ayudantes clínicos, donde se consideraron insuficientes, la formación aplicada por sus profesores tutores, 90 % alegaron desinterés formativo, mientras que las mujeres y/o parejas encuestadas, interconsultadas, no alegaron diferencias entre los alumnos ayudantes y restantes educandos, en relación al desempeño cognoscitivo y valores profesionales, evaluándolos como deficientes, para su categoría de alumnos ayudantes. Conclusiones: Aaunque en las interconsultas de evaluación integral de parejas con riesgo preconcepcional, como forma de organización de la enseñanza se condiciona el desarrollo de la capacidad axiológico-profesional del alumno ayudante clínico, no siempre se aprovecha satisfactoriamente, la legitimación del enfoque formativo pedagógico desarrollador, necesario en el proceso de formación del alumno ayudante clínico, desde la práctica médica preprofesional.
