Abstract (English): Breast cancer is the most prevalent type of cancer among women and has considerable emotional impacts following diagnosis. This study therefore aimed to examine the emotional effects associated with the disease and to highlight the importance of nursing in providing psychosocial support. It is an integrative literature review conducted using national and international databases, including articles published between 2020 and 2025. The findings revealed that emotions such as fear, anxiety, and sadness are common and may interfere with treatment adherence. Nursing interventions, including receptiveness, active listening, and supportive strategies, help to alleviate suffering and promote well-being, fostering emotional balance and a sense of calm in the face of diagnosis. The study concludes that nurses play a crucial role by combining technical care with emotional support, thereby enhancing patients' confidence and hope. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
