Abstract (English): The article focuses on the entomoepidemiological risk arising from the coexistence of three arbovirus vector species — Aedes aegypti, Anopheles albimanus, and Culex quinquefasciatus — in three cemeteries in the Piura department, Peru. A total of 216 specimens of these species were identified in the Catacaos, San Miguel Arcángel, and San Teodoro cemeteries, with variations in abundance depending on the site and the sex of the mosquitoes. The cemeteries function as potential vector reservoirs, which represents a challenge for traditional vector control, primarily focused on indoor environments and Aedes aegypti. Given insecticide resistance and the adaptability of arboviruses, it is proposed to include these spaces in control strategies that consider biotechnological methods and environmental management to reduce mosquito proliferation.
