Abstract (English): The editorial presents volume 24, number 46 of the NOVA Journal, highlighting its commitment to excellence in biomedical research. This issue includes studies on the application of IoT technologies in biotechnology, the sustainable use of whey to produce Bacillus thuringiensis, and the characterization of resistant bacteria in Colombia, among other relevant topics. Additionally, systematic reviews on congenital toxoplasmosis, microorganisms in endodontic infections, and burnout syndrome in healthcare professionals are addressed. The strengthening of the editorial committee with international researchers consolidates the journal’s global projection, promoting the integration of advanced technologies and multidisciplinary approaches to tackle challenges in public and clinical health. Abstract (Spanish): El editorial presenta el volumen 24, número 46 de la Revista NOVA, destacando su compromiso con la excelencia en la investigación biomédica. Este número incluye estudios sobre la aplicación de tecnologías IoT en biotecnología, el uso sostenible de lactosuero para producir Bacillus thuringiensis, y la caracterización de bacterias resistentes en Colombia, entre otros temas relevantes. Además, se abordan revisiones sistemáticas sobre toxoplasmosis congénita, microorganismos en infecciones endodónticas y el síndrome de burnout en profesionales de la salud. El fortalecimiento del comité editorial con investigadores internacionales consolida la proyección global de la revista, que promueve la integración de tecnologías avanzadas y enfoques multidisciplinarios para enfrentar desafíos en salud pública y clínica.
