| Abstract (English): | The following article presents a quantitative descriptive type study regarding the social, demographic and epidemiologic situation in more than a thousand violence related internal refugee families arriving at the Ciudad Bolívar locality in Bogotá, with emphasis in health state, education and habitat. The family folder designed by the Asociación Colombiana de Facultades de Medicina (ASCOFAME) was used as the information recollection tool, being applied voluntarily to 1,447 families of which 571 were vulnerable receptive population and 876 were internal refugees, between December 2006 and July 2008. We concluded that the internal refugee population is at a special state of vulnerability for the exercise of their fundamental rights, situation that begins before the displacement moment and perpetuates once they arrive to the receptor district. | Abstract (Spanish): | Este artículo presenta un estudio descriptivo cuantitativo sobre la situación social, demográfica y epidemiológica de más de mil familias desplazadas por la violencia que llegaron a la localidad de Ciudad Bolívar en Bogotá, con énfasis en los estados de salud, educación y vivienda. Se utilizó como instrumento de recolección y de análisis de información, la carpeta familiar diseñada por la Asociación Colombiana de Facultades de Medicina (ASCOFAME), la cual se aplicó de manera voluntaria en 1.447 familias, de las cuales, 571 eran población vulnerable receptora y 876 eran población desplazada, entre diciembre de 2006 y julio de 2008. Se concluyó que la población desplazada se encuentra en un estado de especial vulnerabilidad para el ejercicio de sus derechos fundamentales, situación que se inicia antes del momento del desplazamiento y que se perpetúa en el municipio receptor.
