| Abstract (English): | Introduction: The attention deficit with hyperactivity is one of the more frequent diagnostics in the environment of the clinical psychology and neuropsychiatric disorders in children. The essential symptoms are: inattention, hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and among the secondary symptoms the behavior and fine motor ability dysfunctions and emotional difficulties are frequent. Methods: A descriptive study of traverse court with the objective of evaluating the development of the skill motor ability in children with 5 year-old of age and diagnosis of attention deficit with hyperactivity. Review of clinical histories in the Neurodevelopment Rehabilitation Center "Rosa Luxemburgo", Cárdenas (Matanzas) in the period of December 2010 to March 2011 allowed the sample. Of 28 children, 18 were selected. The inclusion approaches were: 5 year-old, attention deficit with hyperactivity and those without other neurological alterations, with normal intelligence levels and authorization of the parents for inclusion in the investigation. The used instruments were: Peabody Development Motor Scales, Inattention and Hyperactivity Questionnaire and clinical interview to the teachers of the children Results: The results showed that most of the children present attention deficit with hyperactivity: combined subtype. All present delay in the development skill motor ability. The difficulties are specifically in the visual-motor coordination abilities and skills with hands. The most of the infants are described as half plateau in the pedagogic profile of the skill motor ability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
| Abstract (Spanish): | Introducción: El trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad es uno de los diagnósticos más frecuentes en el ámbito de la psicología clínica infantil y la neuropsiquiatría. Los síntomas esenciales son: inatención, hiperactividad e impulsividad y entre los síntomas secundarios los trastornos motores finos, de conducta y dificultades emocionales. Métodos: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal con el objetivo de evaluar el desarrollo de la motricidad fina en infantes con 5 años de edad con trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad. Una revisión de historias clínicas en el Centro de Rehabilitación del Neurodesarrollo "Rosa Luxemburgo", Cárdenas, Matanzas en el período de diciembre 2010 a marzo 2011 permitió seleccionar la muestra. De 28 niños se seleccionaron 18. Los criterios de inclusión fueron: niños con 5 años, con diagnóstico de trastorno por déficit de atención con hiperactividad, sin comorbilidades neurológicas, niveles de inteligencia normal promedio y que los padres ofrecieron su consentimiento para la ejecución de la investigación. Los instrumentos empleados fueron: Escalas de Desarrollo Motor Peabody, Cuestionario de Inatención e Hiperactividad y entrevista clínica semiestructurada a los maestros de los niños. Resultados: La mayoría de los niños presentaban trastornos por déficit de atención: subtipo combinado. Todos presentaban retardo en el desarrollo motor fino. Las dificultades se encontraron específicamente en las habilidades de coordinación visual-motora y destreza manual.
