| Abstract: | The article discusses the U.S. National Football League's (NFL's) decision to increase the distance from which extra-point kick attempts could be made. According to the author, the extension of the limit from 20 yards to 33 yards has reduced the success rate of extra-point attempts and has made such attempts more competitive and interesting. Opponents of the change claim it may be leading to increased rates of injury. Two-point conversions are also discussed. |
