| Abstract: |
The article reflects upon the reasons that led to the success of Familias en Acción project. It opines that the cultural competence of the project site's private investigator facilitated the success of the project. It outlines the investigator's actions, describing her cultural competence and comments on the respect given to local culture and people, through out the project. It suggests that the absence of cultural competence could have been an impenetrable barrier for the project. |
