Abstract: The present study indicated that subjects with a high monitoring coping style are more fearful of AIDS than subjects with a low monitoring coping style. In addition, it was found that high monitors have a more preventive attitude towards AIDS than low monitors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
