The article presents a case study of a 30-year-old Rhesus (Rh) D-negative pregnant women. Topics discussed include hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn, routine postnatal anti-D immunoglobulin prophylaxis of RhD-negative women who delivered an RhD-positive child, and the risk of maternal alloimmunization. |
