Abstract: The article presents a case study of a 58-year-old man presented with a 2-day history of moderate left lower quadrant pain, mild fever, 2 episodes of vomiting and no diarrhea. Diverticulitis is suspected which is managed with oral antibiotics while severe forms of diverticulitis often require parenteral antibiotics.
