| Abstract: | A summary is presented of an article published online at http://dx.doi.org/10.1126/science.aat5434 concerning Saturn's internal magnetic field by the Cassini space probe. It states that the Pioneer 11 space probe detected Saturn's internal magnetic field had high symmetry relative to its spin axis. It mentions that Cassini's fluxgate magnetometer provided precise measurements of Saturn's magnetosphere. It talks about possible concentrations of magnetic flux within Saturn's deep dynamo. |
