Abstract: The article presents the research summary on migratory DCs activating TGF-b to precondition naïve CD8+ T cells for tissue-resident memory fate. It further states that successful immune responses to infections generate memory T cells that offer enhanced protection from reinfection by the same pathogen. It further states that some memory cells recirculate through tissues through the blood and lymph, while others become local residence.
