Abstract: The article offers information on a social medicine and advocacy curriculum developed by Cambridge Health Alliance. Topics covered include the problem that was addressed by the course, the design of the curriculum, and the lessons that were learned from the development and implementation of the curriculum as well as the extent to which it has achieved its goal based on the responses of residents and alumni on their perceptions of its quality and impact.
