| Abstract: | The article focuses on genome editing technologies and its benefit for the society. It is noted that the International Association for Responsible Research and Innovation in Genome Editing (ARRIGE) was created in 2018, to bring civil society into the discussion. The authors' mention the need to create a global citizens' deliberation to discuss genome editing. It discusses some important reasons for creating global citizens' assembly which include public confidence in technologies. |
