| Abstract: | Introduction Hypertrophic olivary degeneration (HOD) is a clinical manifestation characterized by the degeneration of the dentato-rubro-olivary tract (Guillain-Mollaret Triangle). Discussion Hypertrophic olivary degeneration (HOD) is a type of trans-synaptic degeneration, which is usually unilateral and occurs due to hypertrophy of the inferior olivary nucleus in response to the damage in dentato-rubro-olivary tract [[1]]. While assessing temporally distributed MRI scans of patients, they detected changes in lesions' appearances and quantities between the first and last MRI scans, and as a result, they have categorized patients into 3 groups as "worsened", "improved", and "unchanged" [[3]].
