Abstract: Consistent with the features of spinal cord glioma, the original and disseminated tumor did not exhibit an IDH1/2 mutation [[1]]; however, representative characteristics such as BRAF and H3F3A/B variations were also absent in the spinal cord tumor [[1], [3]]. In addition, the MYC pathway was activated in all 4 tumors, and Hippo stimulation also occurred in the cavernous tumor, both of which are less frequently reported but may facilitate tumor progression. Glioma infiltration with necrosis of the temporal lobe, midbrain, brain stem, and part of the medulla oblongata was visible under microscopy, and tumor infiltration at the C3 level was also noted. It was relatively independent from the other subclonal clusters, which may be due to a dissemination from the spinal tumor to the pontine and temporal tumors after the appearance of the temporal lesion The chromosomal alterations increased as the tumor evolved (Fig. [Extracted from the article]
