Abstract: The article discusses research which focused on Tropical Pacific decadal climate variability and change (TPDV). Topics explored include the way TPDV can influence biodiversity, agricultural production, and weather events, the link between internal TPDV and El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) events, and the anthropogenic and natural processes which tend to contribute to TPDV.
