Abstract: The article discuss how heat shock protein 90 antibodies, in autism individuals had a significantly higher level of autoantibodies to heat shock protein 90 than did normal controlses. A difference between autism and non-psychiatric autoimmune disorders, supportive of a specific role for these antibodies in autistic pathophysiology.
