| Abstract: | 1 T2-weighted and diffusion-weighted brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the patient during her hospitalization, showing acute ischemic lesions in both cerebral hemispheres he patient was subsequently evaluated by an infectious disease specialist. Serum screening for parasites, including I Toxocara canis i , was performed (ELISA) and confirmed a high titer of serum IgG against I Toxocara canis i in the patient's serum (1/2,400).
