This article presents several abstracts related to different diseases. The first one is "Caregivers of Elderly Individuals With Cancer," by Y. Kim, B.A. Given, W. Haley, R. McCorkle and K.F. Bowman. It addresses the significance of medical morbidity among caregivers because the majority of caregivers have pre-existing medical conditions while providing care and investigates family members' health maintenance in long-term survivorship. Another abstract is "Exercise Across the Breast Cancer Continuum: Risk Reduction, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care," by T.E. Woods, G.G. Kolden, D. Yang, E.A. Mullen and J.C. Holland. It examines recreational and occupational physical activity patterns and breast cancer risk in Asian-American women in a population based case-control study. |
