| Abstract: | Dear Editor, Spleen rupture (SR) after thrombolysis is a rare life-threatening cause of intraperitoneal hemorrhage [[1]]. 4 One-month follow-up brain computed tomography (CT) shows marked hypodensity corresponding to cerebral brain infarction The mortality rate of rtPA-induced SR is about 50% and the treatment of choice is emergency splenectomy [[1]].
