Abstract (English): Christian theism is not about paper, not about the senses, not about the reason for obtaining knowledge. Quite the contrary. On the one hand, it recognizes that God has delegated to human beings the task of knowing the natural secrets of the universe through empirical observation and experimentation. On the other hand, recognize the role of reason at the time of intuiting ethical truths that have been written in our hearts. But Scripture also emphasizes that there are transcendental truths that go beyond what our senses can perceive and what our reason can conceive. In addition, subray the noetic effects of sin that lead human beings to suppress and unfairly exchange the truth of God for the lie. These reasons make it necessary then a third epistemological source that guides the reason and the senses in its conclusions. This third epistemological source is known as REVELACIÓN, which reaches its climax in the persona and work of Jesus Christ, el Son of God. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): El teísmo cristiano no niega el papel, ni de los sentidos, ni de la razón para obtener conocimiento. Todo lo contrario. Por un lado, reconoce que Dios ha delegado al ser humano la tarea de conocer los secretos naturales del universo a través de la observación empírica y la experimentación. Por otro lado, reconoce el papel de la razón a la hora de intuir verdades éticas que vienen escritas en nuestros corazones. Pero la Escritura también resalta que hay verdades trascendentales que van más allá de lo que nuestros sentidos pueden percibir y de lo que nuestra razón puede concebir. Además, subraya los efectos noéticos del pecado que llevan al ser humano a suprimir y cambiar de manera injusta la verdad de Dios por la mentira. Esas razones hacen necesario entonces una tercera fuente epistemológica que guíe la razón y los sentidos en sus conclusiones. A esa tercera fuente epistemológica es conocida como REVELACIÓN, la cual llega a su clímax en la persona y la obra de Jesucristo, el Hijo de Dios. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
