Abstract:	The article presents a personal experience of author's first encounter with Roy Kern at a conference in 1972, their subsequent collaborations, and Kern's influential role in promoting Individual Psychology through research, publications, and mentoring doctoral students. It highlights their joint efforts to expand empirical research in Adlerian counseling and their ongoing professional relationship, including the author's involvement in consulting and teaching at various University.
