Abstract: The article focuses on how Art-Based Learning, a method involving observing artworks and creating narratives related to them, can help cancer patients in the palliative phase find new meaning and deal with the unexpected disruption caused by a cancer diagnosis. Topics include the process of Art-Based Learning; the study methodology involving an art exhibition; and how cancer patients responded to the artworks and the Art-Based Learning session.
