The article presents the discussion on discipline of general semantics. Alfred Korzybski (1933/2023) introduced the concept of extensional devices. Topics include remedy some of the problems generated by our use of language and other forms of symbolic communication; and serve to remind us of the principle of non-identity, of the unique quality of all things. that all phenomena are one-of-a-kind events in spacetime. |
