| Abstract (English): | The objective of this research was to identify the prevalence of sleep problems and their associated factors in graduate students in the health field at a university institution in Medellin, Colombia, during the 2019-1 academic period. A cross-sectional study was conducted with stratified random sampling of 157 students aged between 23 and 62 years. An online self-administered questionnaire was used with sociodemographic, clinical, lifestyle, and sleep habit questions, using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. It was found that 66.2% of the surveyed students experience some sleep problems. Associations were found with the consumption of energy drinks (PR: 1.46, 95% CI: 1.43-8.11) and not having a fixed time to go to bed and wake up daily (PR: 4.17, 95% CI: 1.80-9.69).
