| Abstract: |
The article discusses research which describes the programming of immune, tissue-sensing T cells that deliver therapies to the brain. The study demonstrated the therapeutic potential of a cell-based CNS-specific delivery system customized to cancer or neuroinflammation by first identifying a set of CNS-specific extracellular ligands and brevican proteins and screening for antibodies against CNS-specific antigens, which were used to build CNS-activated synthetic Notch receptors. |
