Abstract: In the following qualitative study, researchers explored the impact of a culturally and linguistically responsive counseling course in Spanish and its impact on participants (N = 3) at a Historically Black College and University counseling program. The course aimed to prepare students to work with Spanish‐speaking populations. The researchers identified three themes that reflected counselors' training experiences during the course.
