Abstract: The article examines the unclear association between convergence insufficiency (CI) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), highlighting the variability in findings based on different visual signs. The authors suggest that a diagnosis of binocular instability may be more appropriate than CI and propose that ADHD-related concentration issues could affect the measurement of visual skills. They emphasize the need for further research to clarify the relationship between binocular vision disorders and attention, noting that while some treatments may improve visual skills or ADHD symptoms, the causal links remain ambiguous.
