Abstract: Managing an avulsed permanent tooth aims to prevent or minimize inflammation caused by damage to its attachments and to prevent pulpal infection, which can be quite challenging. In cases where the avulsed tooth structure is lost or severely compromised, prosthetic rehabilitation or autotransplantation may be necessary. Autotransplantation involves surgically translocating a tooth within the same person from its initial position to a different location, effectively replacing a lost or compromised tooth. This procedure may be considered when there is an appropriate donor tooth accessible. The present case report documents two treatment approaches for dental injuries. First, it involves the reattachment of a tooth fragment in an upper left central incisor with a fracture extending into a pulp following trauma. Second, it highlights the successful case of autotransplantation involving a mature mesiodens, which is an extra tooth, to replace an avulsed maxillary right central incisor. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
