| Abstract (English): | The article reflects on the importance of psychoanalysis, especially the relational and intersubjective currents, for family and couple therapists. The author shares her personal experience in approaching these currents through her training at the Latin American Institute of Mental Health and Human Rights, highlighting how concepts from psychoanalysis can enrich therapeutic practice. The relevance of the therapeutic relationship and intersubjectivity in the healing process is emphasized, as well as the understanding of trauma and its transgenerational transmission.
