Abstract (English): The study of psychological dating violence requires special attention to the role of social networks, as the increasing use of new technologies as a means of communication has transformed the way in which these dynamics develop. The aim of this research was to understand the perception of university women aged 18 to 25 regarding psychological violence in dating relationships facilitated by social media, at a private university in Bucaramanga. The study followed a qualitative phenomenological design. A semi-structured interview was conducted with 40 women currently in a dating relationship. The results revealed four dimensions and eighteen subcategories associated with the perception, manifestation, and impact of psychological violence on social networks. In conclusion, the participants perceive that psychological violence in dating relationships through social networks has negative effects on physical, mental, and psychological well-being.
