Abstract: In the article, the authors discuss how social workers can be prepared for psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT). Other topics include the components of the four PAT stages of preparations, screening, experiential session and integration, as well as the reasons why social workers are ideally suited for PAT intervention like their social work values of social justice, service, dignity and integrity.
