Abstract: The article focuses on the need for a more inclusive and nuanced approach to understanding and addressing burnout among social workers, particularly in the post-pandemic context. It highlights the limitations of existing research, which has primarily centered on physicians, and emphasizes the importance of incorporating qualitative research methods to capture the unique experiences and challenges faced by social workers. The authors advocate for expanding the benchmarks of success for burnout interventions beyond traditional quantitative measures, such as p values, to include subjective experiences and the effectiveness of various intervention strategies.
