Abstract: The article discusses the results of an institutional survey with the social work community and the challenges of sustaining and expanding macro social work within macro social work (MSW) programs. Topics discussed include hindrances to developing macro practicums, the need for structural reforms in training and field education and strategies for integrating and promoting macro social work within social work curricula.
