| Abstract (English): | The ministerial life of Jesus, His ability to attract crowds, His miracles, and His unique teaching, which confronted human, carnal, and worldly nature, have already been widely studied and discussed today. However, His preaching, His appeal, and His public call to conversion directed at people, including its content, form, and didactic approach, still require deeper understanding. The purpose of this study is precisely that, namely, to bring greater insight into these important aspects of Jesus' life. The study aims to clarify questions such as: What was the content of Jesus' preaching? What did Jesus want to teach us in practice? What is the appeal of Jesus to people? To address these questions, this study used a qualitative research approach, with purposive selection of the bibliography based on the relevance of the works to the topic investigated. In this context, it was observed that Jesus' preaching did not follow a standardized formula with fixed content and a uniform method of calling people to conversion. Rather, Jesus emphasized that His teaching should be practiced, and not merely heard and approved. His teaching, in turn, was based on compassion for others, on doing good even when mistreated, on loving even when hated, and on blessing even while suffering from slander. Certainly, this is a challenge to our human nature, but a possible goal for those who believe. It was and still is a call to a comprehensive transformation of life, in thinking, in speaking, in acting, and in living. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
| Abstract (Portuguese): | A vida ministerial de Jesus, sua capacidade de atrair multidões, seus milagres, seu ensino único e que confrontava à natureza humana, carnal e mundana, já é bastante estudada e discutida atualmente. Entretanto, sua pregação, seu apelo, seu chamado público à conversão direcionado às pessoas, com seu conteúdo, forma e didática, ainda carecem de mais compreensão. O objetivo deste estudo é justamente esse, isto é, trazer mais compreensão sobre esses aspectos tão importantes da vida de Jesus. O estudo visa esclarecer questões como: qual o conteúdo da pregação de Jesus? O que Jesus queria nos ensinar, na prática? Qual é o apelo de Jesus às pessoas? Para discorrer sobre essas questões, este estudo utilizou como procedimento metodológico a pesquisa qualitativa com seleção intencional da bibliografia a partir da sua relevância para o tema investigado. Nesse sentido, verificou-se que a pregação de Jesus não seguia uma fórmula padronizada, com conteúdo e forma fixos de chamar as pessoas à conversão. Mas a ênfase de Jesus era que se praticasse o seu ensino, e não apenas o ouvisse e o aprovasse. Seu ensino, por sua vez, se baseava em compaixão com o próximo, em fazer bem mesmo sendo maltratado, em amar mesmo sendo odiado, e em bendizer mesmo sofrendo com a maledicência. Com certeza, um desafio para a nossa natureza humana, mas um alvo possível para os que creem. Era e é, assim, um chamado à transformação de vida integral, no pensar, no falar, no agir e no viver.
