| Abstract: | Summary: Key points ○Primary care physicians are asked about cannabis for therapeutic purposes by patients of all ages, but few are prepared to provide advice.○Physicians are aware that older adults may have unique considerations related to cannabis use but are not confident they can provide the best advice. Why does this paper matter? ○This article demonstrates the mismatch between patient interest in cannabis and provider preparedness in providing patients with sound advice on safe use. Although physicians are aware that older adults have different adverse risks from cannabis use, more training is needed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
