Abstract: Grief counseling is not just a subject of expertise, but a counseling modality that all professional counselors will integrate into their practice. This Delphi study identifies expert-informed best practices in grief counseling to address current gaps in counselor education. Findings present essential competencies knowledge, skills, and awareness.
