Abstract: Precollegiate programs (PCPs) have emerged as promising approaches for supporting the higher education trajectories of youth who have experienced foster care. However, little is known about their impact on subsequent college enrollment and connectedness to supportive resources. This study examined how a summer PCP supported student uptake of financial supports such as Education and Training Vouchers (ETVs) and found that attendees received significantly more lifetime ETV funds and greater years of support than non-attendees.
